DOHERTYS ROAD WATERMAIN RELOCATION

Client: Westgate Tunnel Project (CPBJH-JV)
Location: Altona
Project Overview: Installation of approximately 1.1km DN600 MSCL pipeline along Dohertys Road as part of the West Gate Tunnel Project

Works completed:

• Site set-up including fencing and amenities
• Service proving and locating numerous live services within work area, including underground utilities and overhead services
• Excavation in high strength rock to lay new DN600 MSCL pipe
• Successful commissioning and testing of the newly installed watermain to water authority standards
• Management and control of PFAS contaminated material
• Installation of HDD bore under Dohertys Road.
• Maintained water supply to stakeholders to ensure minimal disruptions
• Asphalt reinstatement to VicRoads Standard
