MAIN DRAIN UPGRADE GLENROY

Location: Glenroy
Highlights: Construction of 1.5km of DN1800 RCP pipe in a brownfields environment in Glenroy.
Works undertaken involved:
- Installation of large diameter RCP and box culverts
- Excavation at depths greater than 6m
- NDD and identification of multiple existing and unidentified services
- Reinstatement re-sheeting of Council roads
- Rehabilitation and landscaping works
Delcon Civil worked cooperatively with CPB Contractors to ensure a safe and successful project in a difficult brownfields environment that included overhead power, deep excavation, working around and protection of existing services and management of live drainage flows.
