Project Overview: Major excavation works in constrained environment at La Trobe Street and Little La Trobe Street as part of the Metro Tunnel upgrade, working to connect Sunbury to Cranbourne/Pakenham line.
Works completed:
- Breaking and excavation of 90,000m3 of hard rock.
- No lost time for the entire project.
- Excavation and retaining wall construction of large shafts in centre of Melbourne CBD.
- Deep excavation in tight, challenging areas.
